We are a full service music production firm, providing our clients with the technological and creative support needed to share their vision with the world. As artists ourselves, we know what it means to be on “the other side of the glass” and put our experience to work for you.
Our services include tracking, editing, mixing, and mastering.
We also offer technical services; building/modifying or repairing analog equipment.
We bring life to records and the recording process in a way that is often missing in today’s digital world. We offer an environment that is warm, comforting, and supports the creative process.
Like the great studios of the past, much of our equipment is built and/or modified in house. Our collection includes gear from Spectra Sonics, Maselec, ADR, Antelope Audio, Otari, AKG, Coles, DPA, Neumann, Sennheiser, as well as a host of other microphones, outboard processing, instruments, and amplifiers.
At the end of the day, all of your carefully crafted and executed performance must be captured with the utmost precision. For this, we employ Magix Samplitude Pro X3 as well as Avid Protools paired with Antelope Audio AD/DA converters. We find that this provides an excellent canvas for creating soundscapes of your wildest imagination.
We have a wide range of DSP from UAD, Soundtoys, and FabFilter, among others.
Monitoring is handled by Josh Florian modified Dynaudio MA-1 and Yamaha NS10M loudspeakers, driven by Crown and Halfler amps, respectively.
Shape Recording is based out of the Pioneer Valley in MA and is run by engineer/tech/producer, Andy Casella.
